I’ve been watching way too much Once Upon a Time…
Did Disney movies foster my lust for love?
This realization only just hit me.
I guess I should have figured this one out sooner.
But in every classic movie,
There’s the damsel in distress,
So desperately seeking to be saved,
To be loved.
And this is what I grew up watching.
Is this why
I can’t imagine a life is worth living
Without a man to share it with?
Well, shit.
Ariel was an idiot anyway.
15 minutes
15 minutes can change your life.
In 15 minutes, someone can decide to fail you,
Disappoint you,
Give up on you.
Someone can take your world
And turn it upside down.
And all it took them
Was 15 minutes.
Monday
People nowadays
constantly fall
into the dangerous habit
of over-promising
and under-delivering.
It’s time to revolutionize
the way we think.
It’s time we
give more
and expect less.
Google Earth
The other day
I recognized
Just how narrow,
How limited,
How confined
My views on the world are
When I realized
I have never used Google Earth
To look up any street view
Other than the ones in Ohio.
